Fable 5 was restored worldwide July 1; the make-good is 50% of weekly limits on Pro/Max/Team/select Enterprise through July 7, then usage credits. On Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise plans, Fable 5 is included at no extra cost from June 9 through June 22, 2026. From June 23 it requires usage credits, until capacity allows it to return as a standard part of subscriptions.
If you're on a subscription, the next two weeks are the free trial window — a good time to run your hardest real task against it and decide whether the credits will be worth it. The cookbook has starting points.
API and consumption-based Enterprise access is unaffected: standard $10/$50 per-MTok pricing, no window.
